NO PEOPLE DISCOVERED NEW ZEALAND AOTEAROA BEFORE POLYNESIANS, MORIORI ARE  THE SAME RACE AS MAORI.

The Lies fabricated in the School Journal of July 1916 is about the only history of our nation retained by many ignorant New Zealanders. Many have no knowledge of the New Zealand Land Wars, New Zealand Settlement Act 1863 or land confiscations. The 1916 School Journal made a deceptive lie by Stephenson Percy Smith to justify British colonisation inferring that Moriori discovered New Zealand Aotearoa prior to Maori. This in turn justified the near extermination of Maori in the minds of British colonists and their descendants.

Below are online comments from this week, 99 years after the Educational School Journal published it’s deceptive history that Morori were a Melanesian pre-culture, when in fact Moriori migrated from the mainland in the 1500’s. This false history has lead to a perverse theory if Maori exterminated imaginary pre-inhabitants this makes it acceptable, what British colonists did to Maori they got what they deserved.

However this urban myth survived until the 21st century is down to racial prejudice. How can millions of New Zealanders fabricate patriotism through a new flag when they have a selective memory of a divisive history that romanticizes British colonisation as some sort of saviour, while demonising the original inhabitants. British colonisation where ever it took place upon the earth was designed to exterminate the indigenous people and New Zealand is no exception. You only have to ask the Tasmanian Aborigines, that’s right you can’t because they are extinct.

As for the genocide in the Chathams committed against Moriori many believe this history is also fabricated and the New Zealand company are the real villain’s in this piece. There is a possibility the New Zealand Company encouraged warlike Taranaki Maori to use the brig Lord Rodney and travel to the Chatham Islands as a strategy to ethnically cleanse the Island for future British colonisation. The current history paints the British as innocent bystanders where evil Maori hijacked their ship and accidentally found the Chatham Islands.
