Unite Union will be sponsoring a special national gathering of fast food workers on Saturday, February 14, 2015 in Auckland for a day of chats, talks, planning, education, music and fun.

We will be discussing all the fast food contracts and how they can be improved.

We will also have visiting fast food workers from the USA who have been leading the fight for “$15 and a union” there.

The day will kick off the 2015 campaign to improve wages and working conditions in the fast food industry. In particular we want everyone to be able to have secure, guaranteed hours from week to week, and bring an end to “Zero Hours” contracts.
