Recently state broadcaster Mike Hosking made a prejudice comment about Maori on Seven Sharp.

Coincidentally Hosking has a track history of being intolerant of Maori personalities rolling his eyes at Hone Harawira in this interview and his inability to pronounce Mr Harawira’s name correctly.

Members of the public have demanded Mike Hosking be the TVNZ front man for Māori Language Week 2016. To help confirm Hosking has a right to talk on Maori issues and to confirm in the minds of the New Zealand public Mr Hosking isn’t  racist and intolerant of indigenous rights.
