Mana Bus

Kia ora, I would like to let Mana members know about a relatively new Bus Company which has entered the cheap fares bus operators. From what I have been able to find out, this company is owned by Suiter Holdings who also own the Waiheke island Bus ervice and the Howick and Eastern Bus Company, as well as another small bus company. My partner and I have travelled on this service and have made considerable savings on fares.
We went on a day return trip to Whangarei and the return fare was $9.00.
We motored down to Rotorua and left the car there and travelled to Wellington. The return fare was $24.00 per person.
The staff are firendly, efficient and helpful. Tea, coffee, water, and biscuits are available at no cost. The vehicles are double-decked Scanias and extremely comfortable to ride in. The chice of using the Mana name has resonated with many Maori. Each trip I have done, Maori passengers heavily outnumber Pakeha. I recommend this mode of travel if you want to save money on petrol. Their personal service is superior to that offered by other companies. You can book and pay for your trip online too.
