Mr Taurua went onto to say “The Newspapers need to understand he is an embarrassment not a leader. David Rankin is speaking out of turn and its not the first time he is making comments on his own he has no relationship with the tribe. He never attends Waitangi celebrations”.<\/p>\n

A suggestion to Stuff and fairfax media that journalism \u00a0include the principles of\u2014truthfulness, accuracy, objectivity, impartiality, fairness and public accountability. None of these can be found in an interview with David Rankin.<\/p>\n

It’s grossly unfair of the media to deceive\u00a0the public that that David Rankin is representative of Ngapuhi when in fact he represents Muriel Newman’s hate group the NZCPR.<\/p>\n

To make a complaint in regards to fairfax media portraying David Rankin is representative of Ngapuhi and Maori contact the Press council click here<\/a><\/p>\n
