David Round<\/span> \u201cYou get a lighter sentence than anyone else if you are a member of the Maori aristocracy Too bad if you are just a stupid common old white person\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Round has made a claim that Maori are the aristocracy despite\u00a0every statistic\u00a0has Maori with the highest unemployment and incarceration rates.<\/p>\n

David Round<\/span> \u201cA Maori of aristocratic birth should not be punished as other people should be punished\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Maori are not born into Aristocracy they are normally born into poverty.<\/p>\n

David Round<\/span>\u00a0“And meting out more lenient punishments to those of Maori birth, or even some of those of Maori birth, will of course simply lead to more Maori crime.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Maori don\u2019t receive lenient punishments in the criminal justice system in fact it\u2019s quite the opposite for example Teina Pora.<\/p>\n

David Round<\/span>\u00a0“It is deeply ironic that John Key is now enjoying a certain popularity for \u2018standing up to the Maoris\u2019.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

In Maori circles John Key is the most despised New Zealand prime minister in the 21st<\/sup> century.<\/span><\/p>\n

David Round<\/span> \u201cIt is well past time to expect Maori to keep their word, and for us simply to say \u2018no\u2019 to further Maori greed.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Environmentalism is not in Maori DNA it\u2019s part of Maori culture as with most indigenous cultures.<\/p>\n

Mr Round has the audacity to claim Hone Harawira is racist over a private email that\u2019s rich coming from this radical.<\/p>\n

David Round<\/span> \u201cWhy is it, I cannot but wonder, that gangs and Maoris just seem to go together? I cannot believe that it is all injustice and oppression, I\u2019m sorry. Plenty of other people are also poor and oppressed. Maori are not the only victims.\u201d<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Why is it, I cannot but wonder, that soccer hooliganism and the English just seem to go together? \u00a0Yet there are Gangs all over the world.<\/p>\n

David Round<\/span> “A large and increasing number of Maori are now (completely mistakenly) convinced that they own all the water in New Zealand.”<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Mr Round has not\u00a0read and comprehended article two of the Treaty of Waitangi, waters rights categorically belong to the families of the signatories.\u00a0Mr Rounds\u00a0opinions of Maori that are one sided and highly inaccurate without any consultation with Tangata Whenua.<\/p>\n

Mana News is demanding Canterbury university terminate Professor Round\u2019s employment. Based on Professor Rounds prejudice comments\u00a0and promoting the suppression of indigenous rights.\u00a0Canterbury University has an obligation to\u00a0be consistent with its missions statement towards indigenous people.<\/p>\n
